NIDRA
Post- Natal Yoga
Unmatched and incomparable with any other form of yoga, Nidras are deep rests that tap deep into the inner self as the body releases tension that has been stored within its muscles. Our body holds onto memories. This technique helps the practitioner to ultimately "let go." The long slow release of breath, connecting to a "purpose", "resolution", the participant desires to achieve. Examples-The discovery humans can lessen anxiety by learning how to soften the breath- the breath deepens as the rib cage begins to open with less constraint, releasing tight intercostal muscles as Oxygen infiltrates the body tissues; the want to quit smoking; deepen self- respect; learn to forgive, by forgiving self, are just a few.
First- time participants with learn to experience gentle recovery sessions, initially, gradually building up to stronger postures that promote confidence, strength, courage and healing through postures leveling up to more challenges. Mindful breathing techniques and inner well- being are cultivated as the mother learns she is the stronghold and advocate for herself and her beloved family.
